Question about Aero
... that Windows Vista has been in development, I've been asked one question more than any other about this next-generation OS: What hardware will it require? require a DirectX 9.0-compliant video card to provide the best experience--that is, to use Vista's Aero Glass UI--but since then, I've heard nothing.

Games, device support... with OS's now making more use of the GPU, that's going to be a bit of a problem. No Aero Glass or 3D desktop, for instance...

Unfortunately, there is some ambiguity right now as to exactly which systems will and Should I find anything else, I'll reply to my own post for the sake of others that might have the same question.
